Denver was always very protective of me as are most German Shepherds of their owners. He did not like it when people got too close to me and he would often times work himself between me and other people. There was one incident in particular where a friend of mine had given me a very aggressive hug when greeting me and I really thought that Denver might bite her for doing so. I had to reassure Denver that I was ok and that I was not in any danger. I don’t think he was very convinced though. He was such a great dog and I’m glad that I had the chance to be a part of his life.
